Do you like having dessert for breakfast? Then I have the dessert…. err…. breakfast for you!! Brown Cow Maple Yogurt with Homemade Granola. This little tasty treat has become a staple in the Cooper Household. And while I say that we are having dessert for breakfast, the fact is that this breakfast is super healthy, especially with our homemade granola, because we know exactly what is going in it! Yum! AND this breakfast keeps me full until lunch.

Augusta GA Newborn Photographer | Maple Yogurt and Homemade Granola | Mary BethMy sweet sister, Anne Marie is the person to thank for this yumminess, because she not only introduced me to the Brown Cow Maple Yogurt, but she also gave me the homemade granola recipe (which is listed below). The funniest thing about the yogurt is that I had been picking it up at Kroger and it appears as though someone else realized the tastiness, because sometimes I go in there and there a no yogurt containers left! Someone has beaten me to the deliciousness!

And if I am being honest, this combination ends up in a bowl in front of me for a snack, for lunch and maybe, just maybe for that sweet tooth desire when it is time to settle in for some evening TV watching. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and THIS is the perfect time of the year for maple yumminess!

I love the Fall. I love all things Fall for me and my family and when September hit, I couldn’t help but think about some of our winged friends and how they were enjoying the Fall. Brenna and I set out to make sure that they would enjoy this time of the year with a sweet treat – a Fall Bird Feeder!

With a few simple items, a toilet paper roll, peanut butter, a stick to be used as a perch, a string for hanging and of course… some yummy bird food, we were set. It was so much fun to make and to think about watching our bird feeder in full use! Literally, we put the peanut butter on the toilet paper roll and then rolled it into the bird food, attach the string and the perch and VIOLA!

Plus, what special times to be spending with Brenna on our long Labor Day Weekend. These are the moments I just want to freeze!

Oh sweet morning! I am an early bird by nature. I love being the first one up and feeling like I can take on the day. My favorite part of the morning is really my first cup of coffee. I love the whole process, the smell, the heat from the cup and the first, delicious sip. I use a Keurig each morning and LOVE using the K-Cups that you can fill.

I personally love Decaf Hazelnut Coffee, but always have a couple other options in the house for when guests come for a visit. It is so nice to personalize coffee and I can always make a pot, since I have ground coffee ready.

There is something about the quiet of the morning that makes me feel so energized. Usually, I try to get a workout in and get caught up on work in those wee-hours of the morning, but the thing that sets the tone for the rest of the day is my coffee.
